4’: GOAL instant reply as a Bolton corner is met with a header to equal things up in these early stages. 1-1
9’:GOAL What a game already, Johnson plays a ball over the top after some tenacity from Watson to win the ball back, as Pierrepont latches on to lob the GK. 2-1
17’: Bolton look to counter but Cheetham steps out of defence and takes a shot on from 35 yds, but it goes wide
23’: Smith comes inside and plays a left footed ball over the top to Greene and she does the rest to put it past the ‘keeper. 3-1.
28’: Watson drives over from 25 yards.
39’: Greene cuts inside and hits one from the edge of the box but the Bolton GK keeps hold of it. 3-1
41’: Tugby slides Pierrepont through, who puts it in but it’s offside.
43’: Greene and Tugby link up before Smith gets a hold of the ball 25 yards out and fires wide.

Half-Time: Barnsley lead 3-1 after a frantic first 9 minutes saw 3 goals scored.

45': Barnsley get the 2nd Half underway
47’: It’s more of the same from the girls as Greene puts a 25 yard effort just wide. 3-1.
49’: GOAL: Pierrepont gets her second of the game and Reds fourth 4-2
51’: A parried cross falls to Bolton’s #11 to tap home. 4-2.
59’: A Tugby free kick from a narrow angle hits the post but is cleared.
69’: SUB! Csomor is replaced by Kenyon.
70’: GOAL Pierrepont is slipped in for her hat-track! Fantastic play. 5-2
71’: GOAL 2 goals in 2 mins as sub Kenyon scores from a Smith cutback.

Verdict from the Boss Andy : Brilliant result for our 1st home game of the season.7 good goals and overall a great performance from everyone, both in and out of possession. Couple of things to work on and improve on still. But a big step in the right direction. We go again Tuesday.
