First Game of the 2018/19 season in the FA Womens National League Northern Division 1 see's the Ladies travelling North to Chester-le-Street Town Ladies.

Last seasons head to head saw 2-5 win in the same away fixture but this was followed by a defeat 2-1 in the FA Cup a week later away. The last meeting at Oakwell saw Barnsley FC Ladies victorious 3-1 with goals from Anna Cairns, Drew Greene and Demi Pringle.
