A warm evening saw Dave Kelly from Manchester United once again come down again to do the pre-match warm up. Dave has been down regularly in pre season and has devised fitness tests for all our players in conjunction with Barnsley College, and the fitness is showing.

With the game underway BFCL were quick out of the blocks with 4 goals in 1st 30 mins, a hat-tick to Amy Woodruffe and Frankie Wild getting her 1st Barnsley goal. Drew Greene made it 5 before the break.

Amy Woodruffe got her fourth from a delightful cross from Rebecca Hornsey that she met at the far post, before Annie Ward made it 7. Further goals from Rebecca Hornsey, Lissa Woodhouse and Kathryn Smith with a screamer finished the job.
The team are un beaten in pre-season, but more importantly the skill and fitness levels continue to grow.
A weekend off coming up before a final pre-season game against Long Eaton.
